Nathan Sinclair gave the Georgina Ice a 6-5 (OT) victory over the North Kawartha Knights when he scored 1:20 into the extra period. Georgina overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Ice was down 2-0 after a goal by North Kawartha's Zack Pearson at 8:30 in the first period. Georgina tied things up at 5-5 on a goal by Sinclair at 14:56 in the third period. The Ice outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, Georgina averages 2.7 goals per contest. Georgina additionally got points from Justin Wain, who also had one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Georgina included Ryan Kernohan and Dan Foster, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Georgina were Brandon Basler, who had two and Wes McGann and Mark Gavrilov, who contributed one each. The Knights' offense rang up 51 shots on the Ice's net.
