CCM BULLDOGS almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but OC ALLIANCE managed to pull out a 5-4 win in the end. OC ALLIANCE led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when OC ALLIANCE's MIKE TASCH scored at 14:25 in the first period to put OC ALLIANCE up 4-1. MARTIN FLORES and JAY ALMARAZ provided the spark for OC ALLIANCE, combining for three goals and one assist. FLORES had two goals and ALMARAZ also added one goal and one assist. OC ALLIANCE also got points from ALMARAZ, who also registered one goal and one assist. CCM BULLDOGS was led by RYAN BURROWS, who finished with two goals. BURROWS scored the first of his two goals at 1:43 into the second period to make the score 4-2 OC ALLIANCE. KRIS GILMAN assisted on the tally. BURROWS' next tally made the score 4-4 with 7:28 left in the second period. TAYLOR APOSTOL picked up the assist. CCM BULLDOGS additionally got points from APOSTOL, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. KEVIN LACHMAN also scored for CCM BULLDOGS. Other players who recorded assists for CCM BULLDOGS were VITO VAIASSUSO, who had one. ANDREW SKOWRON recorded 13 saves for OC ALLIANCE. OC ALLIANCE ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play. JEFF SANUCBECK made 18 saves for CCM BULLDOGS on 23 shots. CCM BULLDOGS avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays.
