In a game where neither team could get a cushion, Eastern Ontario Wild escaped with a 3-2 victory over York Simcoe Express.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Joshua Barnes at 12:48 of the third period.

Eastern Ontario Wild was led by Yanic Crete, who racked up one goal and one assist. Crete scored 14:01 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Eastern Ontario Wild. Tucker Burke picked up the assist.

Eastern Ontario Wild's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five York Simcoe Express power plays.
