The Glanbrook Rangers relied on the sparkling performance of Matthew Venturelli in net to grab a 4-1 win against the Hagersville Hawks. The win by Glanbrook broke a deadlock and gave the Rangers a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series. Glanbrook was led by Curtis Edwards, who tallied one goal and one assist. Edwards scored 4:54 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Glanbrook. Garnet Batrynchuk picked up the assist. The Rangers stifled Hagersville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Glanbrook's offense rang up 34 shots on the Hawks' net. Glanbrook additionally got points from Batrynchuk, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Glanbrook included Noah Matteson and Nathan Fiorino, who scored one goal each. More assists for Glanbrook came via Josh Pace, who had two and Chris Haigh and Brad Parish, who contributed one each. The Rangers were unable to stop Hagersville from sending pucks towards the net, and the Hawks eventually piled up 43 shots on goal. Hagersville was led by Nick Sherwood, who scored the team's only goal. Sherwood scored 2:31 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Glanbrook. Jacob Bianchi provided the assist. Glanbrook's Venturelli stopped 42 shots out of the 43 that he faced. The Rangers incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Curtis Dortenzio rejected 30 shots on goal for the Hawks. Hagersville incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
