M2 Central Michigan University survived a determined comeback attempt by M1 Indiana Institute of Technology on the way to a 5-3 win.

M2 Central Michigan University took a 5-2 lead during the third period, only to have M1 Indiana Institute of Technology storm back on a Ryan Theisen goal 18:18 into the third period to pull to two goals down.
