M1 Oswego State University holds on for 4-3 win against M1 Canisius CollegeCampus Center Ice Arena Sun, Feb 01, 2015 The M1 Canisius College Golden Griffins tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the M1 Oswego State University Lakers held on for a 4-3 victory. A goal by Richie Santini put M1 Oswego State University up 3-1 in the third period, but M1 Canisius College pulled to within one on Stan Pawlow's tally 7:35 into the third period. The Lakers pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 16 penalty minutes. M1 Oswego State University forced the Golden Griffins goalie Bret Gilmour to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. The Lakers' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. M1 Oswego State University was helped by Kegan Storjohann, who grabbed one goal. Storjohann scored on the power play 15:15 into the third period to make the score 4-3 M1 Oswego State University. The Lakers had gotten the advantage when M1 Canisius College's Steve Gentner was sent off for tripping.
