Copeland nets hat trick, leads Amherstburg to 7-3 win over Wheatley

Chad Copeland netted a hat trick to lead the Amherstburg Admirals over the Wheatley Sharks, 7-3.Copeland got on the scoresheet 4:55 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:15 into the second and at 15:10 into the second.
The win by Amherstburg clinched the best of seven series at 4-0.
The Admirals forced Wheatley goalie Conner MacKinnon to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.
Amherstburg also got points from James Brooks, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Kasey Basile, who also registered two goals and one assist. Amherstburg also got a goal from Spencer McConville as well. In addition, Amherstburg received assists from Mark Sobocan, who had three and Brett Banwell, Cody Leeming, Marshal Laing, Aleks Dobrich, and Dean Patterson, who each chipped in one.
Amherstburg's Arren Romeril stopped 20 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Admirals totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. For Amherstburg, Patterson was ejected from the game. MacKinnon rejected 24 shots on goal for the Sharks. Wheatley incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
