Doppelheuer lifts M3-Vanderbilt University over M3-Tennessee University of, 8-4

M3-Vanderbilt University relied on the scoring touch of Ryan Doppelheuer, who netted four goals, to beat M3-Tennessee University of, 8-4.

Doppelheuer got on the scoresheet 6:15 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:42 into the second, at 14:12 into the third, and at 14:23 into the third.

M3-Vanderbilt University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 52 penalty minutes.

Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 2:35 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.
