Jon Farkas scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and the M1 Eastern Michigan University Eagles held off the challenges of the M1 Oakland University Golden Grizzlies in a tough 2-1 win.

Farkas provided M1 Eastern Michigan University with the game-winning tally when he scored 2:22 into the first period. Anthony Stankiewicz assisted on the tally.
