Early goals doom M3-Life University, falls to M3-Vanderbilt University, 10-2

A four-goal first period deficit cost M3-Life University, which could not recover and fell to M3-Vanderbilt University, 10-2.

Nick Honkala had one goal and three assists to lead M3-Vanderbilt University. Honkala scored 15:55 into the first period to make the score 3-1 M3-Vanderbilt University. Bobby Mallon picked up the assist.

M3-Life University's power play was ineffective against M3-Vanderbilt University's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.
