M1 Saint Bonaventure University downs M1 Ithaca College in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The M1 Saint Bonaventure University Bonnies pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the M1 Ithaca College Bombers on a clutch goal by Joe Piegay.

Piegay had a great game for M1 Saint Bonaventure University, netting two goals. Piegay's tallies came at 4:34 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M1 Saint Bonaventure University and 4:05 into the fourth to make the score 4-3 M1 Saint Bonaventure University.

The Bonnies forced M1 Ithaca College goalie Jonathan Lipshutz to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots.

M1 Saint Bonaventure University also had goals scored by Derrick Jester and Michael Mendola, who scored one goal each. More assists for M1 Saint Bonaventure University came via Brandon Prendergast, who had three and Colin Coppola, Jordan Ashman, Sean Devine, and Eric Hostetter, who contributed one each.

By firing 39 shots on goal, the Bombers exceeded the 0.3 shots they average per game this year.

M1 Ithaca College was led by Onesemiah Sutich, who had one goal and two assists. Sutich scored 17:33 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Ithaca College. Nick Mecca picked up the assist. M1 Ithaca College also got points from Mecca, who also registered one goal and one assist. M1 Ithaca College also got a goal from Joey Hanf as well. In addition, M1 Ithaca College received assists from Tim Foster, who had one.

Alex Feyche made 36 saves for M1 Saint Bonaventure University on 39 shots. The Bonnies incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Lipshutz rejected 35 shots on goal for the Bombers. M1 Ithaca College incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
