M1 Rochester College's comeback falls short, M1 Eastern Michigan University wins 5-4Taylor Sportsplex Sat, Jan 24, 2015 The M1 Rochester College Warriors almost clawed their way back from a three-goal deficit, but the M1 Eastern Michigan University Eagles managed to pull out a 5-4 win in the end. M1 Eastern Michigan University led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Eagles' John Vandenbeurgeury scored at 6:39 in the second period to put M1 Eastern Michigan University up 3-0. The Eagles were paced by Lucas Linville, who registered one goal and one assist. Linville scored 18:16 into the third period to make the score 5-4 M1 Eastern Michigan University. Tommy Carey assisted on the tally. M1 Eastern Michigan University forced M1 Rochester College goalie Brenden Kruckenberg to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.
