M2 Northern Illinois University wins tough contest against M2 Saint Louis University, 4-3

M2 Northern Illinois University gutted out a close 4-3 win against M2 Saint Louis University.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Justin Rucinski at 19:58 of the third period.

Rucinski and Nick Leon provided the spark for M2 Northern Illinois University, combining for two goals and four assists. Rucinski racked up one goal and two assists and Leon also notched one goal and two assists.

M2 Northern Illinois University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

M2 Saint Louis University was unable to stop M2 Northern Illinois University from sending pucks towards the net, and M2 Northern Illinois University eventually piled up 53 shots on goal.

M2 Northern Illinois University additionally got points from Leon, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points.
