M2 North Dakota State erases deficit to stun M2 Bethel University, 7-6

M2 North Dakota State climbed out of a three-goal hole to beat M2 Bethel University, 7-6.

M2 North Dakota State let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a three hole to pick up the win. M2 North Dakota State took a 1-0 advantage on a goal by Andrew Mueller at 54 seconds in the first period. M2 North Dakota State found itself down 5-2 after M2 Bethel University's Brett Lizotte put the puck home at 1:57 in the second period. After knotting things up at 6-6 on a goal by CJ Lenzmeier at 2:52 in the third, M2 North Dakota State got the game-winner from Brandon Bloch at 11:47 in the third period.

Bloch had one goal and two assists to lead M2 North Dakota State.

M2 North Dakota State managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. M2 North Dakota State wound up below its season average of 15.0 penalty minutes per game. M2 North Dakota State outdid its season average for goals scored.
