RICHMOND ROBINS downs PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

MATTHEW BELVIN gave RICHMOND ROBINS a 5-4 (OT) victory over PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY when he scored 1:59 into the extra period.

With three goals and two assists between them, ANDREW KENT and BELVIN teamed up to power RICHMOND ROBINS' offense. KENT had two goals and one assist and BELVIN also notched one goal and one assist.

RICHMOND ROBINS kept PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY's goalie busy throughout the game, and KYLE MAGER made 33 saves on 38 shots. RICHMOND ROBINS got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed four goals during the game.

RICHMOND ROBINS also got points from BELVIN, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for RICHMOND ROBINS included FORREST FORD and COLE MURPHY, who each put in one. In addition, RICHMOND ROBINS received assists from TERY DEBOSE and DAKOTA PARKER, who contributed one each.

PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY wound up below its season average of 4.0 penalty minutes per game. RICHMOND ROBINS was unable to stop PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY from sending pucks towards the net, and PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY eventually piled up 39 shots on goal.

PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY was led by STEVE HUNT, who registered two goals. HUNT scored the first of his two goals at 3:00 into the first period to make the score 1-1. BILL CUNNIGHAM picked up the assist. HUNT's next tally made the score 3-2 RICHMOND ROBINS with 19:21 left in the second period. BRIAN PAVGOUZAS provided the assist. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY additionally got points from SEAN STAHL, who also registered one goal and one assist. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY also got a goal from SHANE THOMAS as well.

PARKER recorded 35 saves for RICHMOND ROBINS. RICHMOND ROBINS incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
