Edgar's hat trick boosts NEW JERSEY SURGE over NEW JERSEY BRAVES, 5-3

Kyle Edgar lifted NEW JERSEY SURGE to a 5-3 victory with a hat trick against NEW JERSEY BRAVES.

Edgar's first goal came 1:20 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:11 into the first and at 13:11 into the first.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with five goals.

NEW JERSEY SURGE additionally got points from Ryan Scalzo, who also registered one goal and two assists and Ryan Corragio, who also tallied one goal and one assist. More assists for NEW JERSEY SURGE came via Ryan Braun and Tom Beatty, who contributed one each.

NEW JERSEY BRAVES was helped by James Conway, who had one goal. Conway scored 5:15 into the second period to make the score 4-3 NEW JERSEY SURGE. Chris Memarus picked up the assist. NEW JERSEY BRAVES also had goals scored by Pete Hamilton and Sean Bassinger, who scored one goal each. In addition, NEW JERSEY BRAVES received assists from Don Cioffi, who had one and James Copeland, who had three.
