NEW YORK TERROR BLACK beats NORTHEAST UPRISING 11-3 as Fillippone gets hat trick

Pete Fillippone netted a hat trick to lead NEW YORK TERROR BLACK over NORTHEAST UPRISING, 11-3.

Fillippone got on the scoresheet 25 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 11:14 into the first and at 11:25 into the second.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

NEW YORK TERROR BLACK additionally got points from Thomas Cotter, who also racked up one goal and two assists, John Ison, who also registered two goals and one assist, and Stephen Giardelli, who also had one goal and one assist. NEW YORK TERROR BLACK also got a goal from Bryan Lees as well. In addition, NEW YORK TERROR BLACK received assists from Alex Kumm, who had three and Brian Sharkey, Adam Taddeo, Thomas Harwood, and Dylan Isaacs, who each chipped in one.

NORTHEAST UPRISING managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. NORTHEAST UPRISING finished below its season average of 6.0 penalty minutes per game.

Justin Green provided the assist. Hathaway's next tally made the score 11-3 NEW YORK TERROR BLACK with 8:23 left in the second period. Green assisted on the tally. Will Lalor also scored for NORTHEAST UPRISING. Other players who recorded assists for NORTHEAST UPRISING were Kyle Berube, who had one.
