M1 Indiana Institute of Technology beats M1 Western Michigan University 4-2 after comeback scare

The M1 Western Michigan University Stallions tried to dig themselves out of a three-goal hole, but M1 Indiana Institute of Technology held on for a 4-2 victory.

M1 Indiana Institute of Technology made the score 4-1 on a goal by Vaughn Clouston at 9:22 in the third period, and M1 Western Michigan University got as close as 4-2 when Nicholas Elliott scored 17:15 into the third period.

M1 Indiana Institute of Technology excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. With 27 shots on target during the contest, M1 Indiana Institute of Technology exceeded the 3.2 shots it averages per game this year.
