M3-South Carolina University of holds on for 5-3 win against M3-Florida University of

M3-Florida University of tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but M3-South Carolina University of held on for a 5-3 victory.

A goal by James Hatton put M3-South Carolina University of up 5-2 in the third period, but M3-Florida University of pulled to within two on Derek Dusome's tally 19:26 into the third period.

M3-South Carolina University of stifled M3-Florida University of's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. With 27 shots on target during the contest, M3-South Carolina University of exceeded the 0.3 shots it averages per game this year.

M3-South Carolina University of was led by Derek Maggs, who grabbed two goals.
