The M3-North Carolina - Wilmington Seahawks beat nonACHA M3-Southern Conn State, 3-2, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

M3-North Carolina - Wilmington took over the lead for good with a goal by Henry Frantz at 6:13 in the first period.

The Seahawks pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 20 penalty minutes.
