Dallas Stars Elite (mm) uses shootout to best Thunder AAA Hockey (mm), 2-1 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Dallas Stars Elite (mm) defeated Thunder AAA Hockey (mm) in a shootout 2-1 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams. Thunder AAA Hockey (mm)'s shootout goal was scored by Kyle Kawamura. In addition to the clincher, Dallas Stars Elite (mm) got a shootout goal from Reed Robinson.

Dallas Stars Elite (mm) came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Dallas Stars Elite (mm) was down 1-0 after a goal by Thunder AAA Hockey (mm)'s ZEKE ZEIER at 5:09 in the second period. Dallas Stars Elite (mm) knotted things up at 1-1 on a goal by Trenton Lee at 6:56 in the third period.

Dallas Stars Elite (mm) was led by goalie Ryan Keane, who finished with 44 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Keane will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.35.
