Chicago Fury (mm) squeaks by Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm), 5-3

The game between Chicago Fury (mm) and Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Chicago Fury (mm) emerged with a 5-3 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by MICHAEL ZUFFANTE at 17:32 of the third period.

Alex Martyn was all over the ice for Chicago Fury (mm), as he racked up two goals in the win. Martyn found the back of the net 2:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Chicago Fury (mm) and again while 17:04 into the second to make the score 2-1 Chicago Fury (mm).

Chicago Fury (mm) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) to score on any of its three power plays. Chicago Fury (mm) kept Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and Jack Moore made 35 saves on 40 shots.

Chicago Fury (mm) additionally got points from Josh N Nelson, who also finished with one goal and one assist and JEFFREY LOSURDO, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Chicago Fury (mm) came via Sammy Martel, who had two and BRENDAN AIRD, Patrick Goggin, and Kevin Barrett, who contributed one each.

Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (mm) forced Chicago Fury (mm) goalie VINNIE PURPURA to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.
