Colorado Rampage (mm) uses shootout to best Cleveland Barons (mm), 3-2 (1-0 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Colorado Rampage (mm) defeated Cleveland Barons (mm) in a shootout 3-2 (1-0 SO).

The shootout featured six attempts between both teams.

Colorado Rampage (mm) stifled Cleveland Barons (mm)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Colorado Rampage (mm) kept Cleveland Barons (mm)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and MICHAEL CARR made 28 saves on 31 shots.

Colorado Rampage (mm) was helped by Luke Millen, who finished with one goal and one assist. Millen scored 14:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Colorado Rampage (mm). Brendan Doyle picked up the assist. Colorado Rampage (mm) also got points from Alex Truscott, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.

Cleveland Barons (mm) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Cleveland Barons (mm) was helped by HENRY FRONTINI, who registered one goal. FRONTINI scored 7:52 into the second period to make the score 2-2. STEVEN IPRI provided the assist. JOSH NORMAN also scored for Cleveland Barons (mm). More assists for Cleveland Barons (mm) came via AJ WOLFE and DREW MAGYAR, who contributed one each.
