Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over Thunder AAA Hockey (MM).

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM)'s Grant Valentine was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 35 saves and let only one puck past him. Valentine managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.04 prior to the game.
