Cleveland Barons (MM) boosted by Johnson's play in net, beats Chicago Fury (MM) 4-1

Henry Johnson had a standout game with 37 saves, and Cleveland Barons (MM) beat Chicago Fury (MM) 4-1.

Cleveland Barons (MM)'s penalty kill excelled, as Cleveland Barons (MM) gave up zero goals despite allowing eight power plays.

Cleveland Barons (MM) was paced by Gordie Harwood, who registered one goal. Harwood scored on the power play 4:02 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Cleveland Barons (MM). A hooking penalty on Stephen Quinn had put Cleveland Barons (MM) on the power play. Frankie Pernsteiner picked up the assist.

Cleveland Barons (MM) stifled Chicago Fury (MM)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Cleveland Barons (MM) was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 26 penalty minutes.

Cleveland Barons (MM) also got points from Corbin Foppe, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Cleveland Barons (MM) also had goals scored by Cole Essig and Brandon Altman, who scored one goal each. In addition, Cleveland Barons (MM) received assists from Bryan Moore, who had two and Croix Evingson and Sam Huettl, who each chipped in one.
