LA Jr. Kings (mm) uses shootout to best Boston Advantage (mm), 2-1 (2-1 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as LA Jr. Kings (mm) defeated Boston Advantage (mm) in a shootout 2-1 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured six attempts between both teams. Boston Advantage (mm) got a shootout goal from Ryan Dombowski. LA Jr. Kings (mm) also got a shootout goal from Jared Christy.

LA Jr. Kings (mm) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Boston Advantage (mm) to score on any of its four power plays. LA Jr. Kings (mm)'s offense rang up 31 shots on Boston Advantage (mm)'s net.

LA Jr. Kings (mm) was helped by Connor Nobach, who racked up one goal. Nobach scored 4:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 LA Jr. Kings (mm). Vladislav Klenov provided the assist. Other players who recorded assists for LA Jr. Kings (mm) were Jakeb Camel, who had one.

Boston Advantage (mm)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three LA Jr. Kings (mm) power plays. Boston Advantage (mm) found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 11 shots against LA Jr. Kings (mm)'s defense.

Boston Advantage (mm) was led by Ryan Doolin, who scored the team's only goal. Doolin scored 5:01 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Dombowski picked up the assist.
