M2 Lindenwood University survives M2 Louisville University of comeback, wins 4-2

M2 Louisville University of tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M2 Lindenwood University would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-2.

M2 Lindenwood University took a 4-1 lead during the third period, only to have M2 Louisville University of storm back on a Henry Smith goal 18:19 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Christoffer Roos had two goals to lead M2 Lindenwood University to victory. Roos' tallies came on the power play at 8:50 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M2 Lindenwood University and 1:03 into the third to make the score 3-1 M2 Lindenwood University.

M2 Lindenwood University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Louisville University of to score on any of its three power plays. With 35 shots on target during the contest, M2 Lindenwood University exceeded the 1.0 shot it averages per game this year.

John Mulligan also scored for M2 Lindenwood University. More assists for M2 Lindenwood University came via Dominic Valencia, who had three and David Allen, Trevor Johnson, David Scott, and John O Connell, who contributed one each.
