M2 Lewis University survives M2 DePaul University comeback, wins 6-4West Meadows Fri, Oct 17, 2014 M2 Lewis University survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 DePaul University on the way to a 6-4 win. A goal by Bradley Hojek put M2 Lewis University up 6-1 in the third period, but M2 DePaul University pulled to within two on Billy Savino's tally 4:25 into the third period. Nicholas Johnsen had a great game for M2 Lewis University, netting two goals. Johnsen found the back of the net 15:04 into the first period to make the score 3-1 M2 Lewis University and again while 15:09 into the second to make the score 5-1 M2 Lewis University. M2 Lewis University also got points from Patrick Gill, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Hojek, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for M2 Lewis University included Matthew Eberhardt and Pat Conoboy, who each put in one. More assists for M2 Lewis University came via Craig Tomassi, who had three and Vincent Kesic and Cody Post, who contributed one each. M2 DePaul University's offense rang up 35 shots on M2 Lewis University's net. M2 DePaul University also had goals scored by Mario Carbonaro, Benjamin Kohen, and Mike Pietro, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for M2 DePaul University were Chris Ernsting, who had two and Anthony Charnota and Nick Oliver, who each chipped in one. Cason Kirkpatrick recorded 31 saves for M2 Lewis University. M2 Lewis University incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. John Cassata took the loss and made 15 saves before being replaced by Jon Claxton who made eight saves. M2 DePaul University incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
