M2 Nevada-Las Vegas University of holds on for 4-3 win against M3-Colorado School of Mines

M3-Colorado School of Mines tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M2 Nevada-Las Vegas University of would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Trey Johnson put M2 Nevada-Las Vegas University of up 4-1 in the third period, but M3-Colorado School of Mines pulled to within one on Parker Fawcett's tally 19:42 into the third period.

M2 Nevada-Las Vegas University of got the win with help from a great game by Drew Bryan, who had two goals and one assist. Bryan scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 10:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Nevada-Las Vegas University of. A high sticking penalty on Dominick Steel had put M2 Nevada-Las Vegas University of on the power play. Cody Lane assisted on the tally. Bryan's next tally on the power play made the score 3-1 M2 Nevada-Las Vegas University of with 7:18 left in the second period. Austin Shannon provided the assist.
