M2 Merrimack College wins tough contest against M2 New Hampshire University of, 4-2

M2 Merrimack College gutted out a close 4-2 win against M2 New Hampshire University of.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Nathan Wawrowski secured the win for M2 Merrimack College with a goal in the third period.

M2 Merrimack College was sparked by Wawrowski, who finished with one goal and one assist. Wawrowski scored on the power play 11:00 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M2 Merrimack College. A cross checking penalty on Austin Sprague had put M2 Merrimack College on the power play. Brett Romkey picked up the assist.

M2 Merrimack College's offense was clicking better than usual and put 33 shots on goal during the game, better than the 1.9 shot per game it averages.
