M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania uses shootout to best M1 Lebanon Valley College, 4-3 (3-2 SO)S&T Bank Arena Sat, Jan 10, 2015 Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks defeated the M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen in a shootout 4-3 (3-2 SO). The two teams needed eight turns to complete the shootout. M1 Lebanon Valley College's shootout goals were scored by Jacob Thomas and Justin Boyd. M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania's other shootout goals were scored by Adam Kondraski and Sean Beichner.By firing 40 shots on goal, the Crimson Hawks exceeded the 0.1 shots they average per game this year. M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania was helped by Nick Harrison, who registered one goal. Harrison scored on the power play 18:13 into the second period to make the score 3-2 M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania. Kondraski assisted on the tally. Others who scored for M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania included Beichner and Christopher Mccambridge, who scored one goal each. In addition, M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania received assists from Reid Duguid, Anthony Venezia, and Connor Campbell, who contributed one each. The Flying Dutchmen's offense rang up 38 shots on the Crimson Hawks' net. M1 Lebanon Valley College was helped by Russ Armbruster, who grabbed one goal. Armbruster scored on the power play 8:56 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Brennan Thompson provided the assist. M1 Lebanon Valley College also had goals scored by Gaige Vandezande and Boyd, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Lebanon Valley College were Cody Pessig, who had two and Paul Hefferin and Zachary McKown, who each chipped in one. Robert Stock made 35 saves for M1 Indiana Univ of Pennsylvania on 38 shots. The Crimson Hawks ended with no penalties and went 1-for-0 on the power play. Matthew Healy rejected 36 shots on goal for the Flying Dutchmen. M1 Lebanon Valley College finished the contest with no penalties and went 1-for-0 with the man advantage.
