A four-goal first period deficit cost M3-Canyons College of the, which could not recover and fell to M3-Northern Arizona University, 12-2.

Tyler Tritschler was all over the ice for M3-Northern Arizona University, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Tritschler scored 14:16 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M3-Northern Arizona University. Joel Tomuro assisted on the tally.
