M2 Rider University erases deficit to stun M2 Wagner College, 5-4Richard J.Codey Fri, Jan 23, 2015 Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, M2 Rider University battled back to claim a 5-4 victory over M2 Wagner College. M2 Rider University let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. M2 Rider University took a 1-0 advantage on a power play goal by Patrick Grilli at 2:12 in the second period. M2 Rider University went down 4-2 after M2 Wagner College's Brandon Hutchison put the puck home short handed at 7:00 in the third period. After tying things up at 4-4 on a goal by Maxwell Daley at 11:09 in the third, M2 Rider University got the game-winner from Christopher Johnson at 15:24 in the third period. M2 Rider University was sparked by Johnson, who grabbed one goal. M2 Rider University's penalty kill unit could not stop M2 Wagner College's power play, which converted on three of three opportunities. The 38 shots that M2 Rider University put on net surpassed M2 Rider University's average of 0.5 shots per game this season.
