Decicco leads M2 Wagner College over M2 Monmouth University, 6-2

Anthony Decicco had two goals and two assists to lead M2 Wagner College to a 6-2 victory over M2 Monmouth University.

Decicco found the back of the net 3:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Wagner College and again while on the power play 7:46 into the first to make the score 2-1 M2 Wagner College.

M2 Wagner College pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 22 penalty minutes.

M2 Wagner College forced M2 Monmouth University goalie Stephen Bonora to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots.

M2 Wagner College additionally got points from Brandon Hutchison, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Dan Reno, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for M2 Wagner College included Vincent Dimare and John Perretta, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for M2 Wagner College were Louis Coniglio, who had one and Will Aston Reese and Joseph Garnet, who contributed two each.

By firing 30 shots on goal, M2 Monmouth University exceeded the 0.6 shots it averages per game this year.

M2 Monmouth University was helped by Anthony DeFede, who racked up one goal. DeFede scored on the power play 1:49 into the third period to make the score 4-2 M2 Wagner College.
