M3-Florida State University survives M3-Life University comeback, wins 5-4

M3-Florida State University survived a determined comeback attempt by M3-Life University on the way to a 5-4 win.

A goal by Eric Campbell put M3-Florida State University up 5-2 in the third period, but M3-Life University pulled to within one on Mark Pavelek's tally 18:00 into the third period.

M3-Florida State University got the win on the strength of a great game by Campbell, who had two goals and one assist. Campbell scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 13:19 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M3-Life University. M3-Florida State University had gained a power play chance when jacob Uzzell was whistled for roughing. Campbell's next tally on the power play made the score 5-2 M3-Florida State University with 16:55 left in the third period. M3-Florida State University had gotten the advantage when M3-Life University's Chris Menton was sent off for hooking. Austin Oman picked up the assist.

M3-Florida State University cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring four goals on six chances. M3-Florida State University could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 38 minutes in penalties during the game.

M3-Florida State University additionally got points from Oman, who also registered one goal and one assist and Joshua Mary, who also tallied one goal and one assist. M3-Florida State University also got a goal from Nicholas Granger as well. In addition, M3-Florida State University received assists from Chris Brown and Charles Bonani, who each chipped in one.

M3-Life University also got points from Justin Lee, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Bryan Hammer, who also had one goal and one assist. Matt Reiman also scored for M3-Life University. Other players who recorded assists for M3-Life University were Justin Reiman, who had one and Mitchell Carpenter, who had two.

M3-Life University totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 3-for-8 on the power play.
