M3-Florida State University falls apart in second, loses to M3-Clemson University, 6-1

M3-Florida State University was within striking distance after one period, but M3-Clemson University put the pedal down in the second en route to a 6-1 victory.

M3-Clemson University got the win behind a great game by Jared Tallo, who had two goals and one assist. Tallo scored the first of his two goals at 1:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Clemson University. Zander Buttress provided the assist. Tallo's next tally made the score 2-0 M3-Clemson University with 13:34 left in the second period. Buttress picked up the assist.

M3-Clemson University was led by goalie Trevor Tironi, who finished with 28 saves while allowing one goal. Tironi certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.63 entering the contest.
