Staines nets hat trick, leads M2 Sacred Heart University to 12-5 win over M2 Rhode Island College

Christopher Staines netted a hat trick to lead M2 Sacred Heart University over M2 Rhode Island College, 12-5.

Staines' first goal came 3:50 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:21 into the second and at 30 seconds into the third.

M2 Sacred Heart University stifled M2 Rhode Island College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. M2 Sacred Heart University's goal total was higher than its season average. M2 Sacred Heart University has scored at the pace of 7.4 goals per game during the current campaign.
