M3-Vanderbilt University wins tough contest against M3-Florida University of, 5-3

M3-Vanderbilt University gutted out a close 5-3 win against M3-Florida University of.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Ryan Doppelheuer's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Doppelheuer was all over the ice for M3-Vanderbilt University, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Doppelheuer scored the first of his two goals at 11:01 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Anthony Bilotta assisted on the tally. Doppelheuer's next tally made the score 4-3 M3-Vanderbilt University with 2:39 left in the third period. John Longman picked up the assist.
