M3-Colorado School of Mines survives M3-Colorado-Colorado Springs Univer comeback, wins 5-4

M3-Colorado-Colorado Springs Univer tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but M3-Colorado School of Mines held on for a 5-4 victory.

M3-Colorado School of Mines made the score 4-2 on a goal by Parker Fawcett at 3:46 in the third period, and M3-Colorado-Colorado Springs Univer got as close as 4-3 when Kyle Lee scored 7:04 into the third period.

M3-Colorado School of Mines kept M3-Colorado-Colorado Springs Univer's goalie busy throughout the game, and Michael Montoya made 36 saves on 41 shots. M3-Colorado School of Mines did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying only one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time.

M3-Colorado School of Mines was led by Anthony Fonte, who registered two goals. Fonte scored the first of his two goals at 3:01 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M3-Colorado School of Mines. Patrick Heyboer assisted on the tally.
