M2 Naval Academy and the M2 Georgetown University Hoyas skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

M2 Naval Academy rebounded from a two-goal deficit to tie M2 Georgetown University, 3-3 (OT).

M2 Naval Academy was helped by Ryan Mcclellan, who registered one goal. Mcclellan scored 7:18 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Eamonn Crumblish picked up the assist. M2 Naval Academy additionally got points from Jason Jablonski, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Matthew Metzdorff, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for M2 Naval Academy were Daniel Wild, who had one and Ryan Kolden, who had two.

The Hoyas stifled M2 Naval Academy's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. By firing 37 shots on goal, M2 Georgetown University exceeded the 2.5 shots it averages per game this year.

The Hoyas were helped by John Kelly, who had one goal and one assist. Kelly scored on the power play 3:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Georgetown University. M2 Georgetown University had gotten the advantage when M2 Naval Academy's Jablonski was sent off for interference. Craig Grossi assisted on the tally. M2 Georgetown University also got points from Grossi, who also registered one goal and one assist. M2 Georgetown University also got a goal from Dan Walsh as well. In addition, M2 Georgetown University received assists from Chad Heal and Harry Clifford, who each chipped in one.

M2 Naval Academy's James OHalloran stopped 34 shots out of the 37 that he faced. M2 Naval Academy incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Josh Heckman rejected 24 shots on goal for the Hoyas. M2 Georgetown University incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
