Behind a great game by Brad Kobryn, who had six goals, the M1 Adrian College Bulldogs defeated the M1 Western Michigan University Stallions, 8-2.

Kobryn got on the scoresheet 1:52 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:34 into the first, at 15:30 into the second, at 2:29 into the third, at 13:08 into the third, and at 18:20 into the third.

M1 Adrian College forced M1 Western Michigan University goalie Anthony Benvenuti to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots. The Bulldogs outdid their season average for goals scored. This season, M1 Adrian College averages 4.7 goals per contest.

Others who scored for M1 Adrian College included Justin Polischuk and Sam Johnston, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Adrian College were Justin Fisher, who had two, Chris Derochie, who had four, and Nikolas Sakellaropoulos and Trevor Benaglio, who each chipped in one.

The 21 shots that the Stallions put on net surpassed M1 Western Michigan University's average of 1.8 shot per game this season. The Stallions got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
