M1 Rochester College holds on for 4-3 win against M1 Western Michigan UniversityLawson Arena Sat, Jan 10, 2015 The M1 Western Michigan University Stallions tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the M1 Rochester College Warriors held on for a 4-3 victory. M1 Rochester College made the score 4-2 on a goal by Doug Lindensmith at 2:30 in the third period, and M1 Western Michigan University got as close as 4-3 when Zach Mudge scored 17:02 into the third period. The Warriors were led by Lindensmith, who grabbed one goal. By firing 31 shots on goal, M1 Rochester College exceeded the 2.0 shots it averages per game this year. M1 Rochester College additionally got points from Joey Giordano, who also registered one goal and one assist and Garrett Gostek, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. M1 Rochester College also got a goal from Christopher Williford as well. In addition, M1 Rochester College received assists from Josh Foster and Kyle Truscott, who contributed one each.
