M3-Northern Colorado survives M3-Wyoming University of comeback, wins 4-2Greeley Sat, Nov 15, 2014 M3-Wyoming University of almost clawed its way back from a four-goal deficit, but M3-Northern Colorado managed to pull out a 4-2 win in the end. M3-Northern Colorado led by four goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when M3-Northern Colorado's Alex Cupples scored at 3:52 in the second period to put M3-Northern Colorado up 4-0. Mitchell Bailey had a great game for M3-Northern Colorado, netting two goals. Bailey scored short handed at 11:01 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M3-Northern Colorado and again while 15:25 into the first to make the score 3-0 M3-Northern Colorado. M3-Wyoming University of was unable to stop M3-Northern Colorado from sending pucks towards the net, and M3-Northern Colorado eventually piled up 52 shots on goal. Kevin Garske also scored for M3-Northern Colorado. More assists for M3-Northern Colorado came via Charlie Marchese, Colten Foster, Blaine Shrum, Garrett Trummer, Austin Pond, and Mike Tabrum, who contributed one each. M3-Wyoming University of was helped by Daniel Everitt, who racked up one goal. Everitt scored on the power play 17:01 into the second period to make the score 4-2 M3-Northern Colorado. M3-Wyoming University of had gained a power play chance when Brennan Bohnsack was whistled for cross checking. Colton Burkett provided the assist. M3-Wyoming University of also got a goal from Tyler Johnson as well. Owen Rauer recorded 28 saves for M3-Northern Colorado. M3-Northern Colorado incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors and had no power play opportunities. Sloan Locker took the loss and made 17 saves before being replaced by Scott Romano who made 31 saves. M3-Wyoming University of totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play.
