Bailey nets hat trick, leads M3-Northern Colorado to 11-2 win over M3-Colorado School of Mines

Mitchell Bailey lifted M3-Northern Colorado to an 11-2 victory with a hat trick against M3-Colorado School of Mines.

Bailey's first goal came 1:10 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:16 into the second and at 18:47 into the third.

M3-Northern Colorado's penalty kill excelled, as M3-Northern Colorado gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.

M3-Northern Colorado bested its season scoring average. This season, M3-Northern Colorado averages 5.1 goals per contest. M3-Northern Colorado got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed four goals during the game. With 55 shots on target during the contest, M3-Northern Colorado exceeded the 0.2 shots it averages per game this year.
