M2 Virginia University of was stymied by M2 Georgetown University's netminder Josh Heckman, who stopped 30 shots during the victory. Heckman managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.0 prior to the game. The Hoyas were sparked by Daniel Litke, who grabbed one goal.
