Bender had two goals and two assists to lead M1 Slippery Rock University. Bender scored the first of his two goals at 23 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-2 M1 Slippery Rock University. JT Grahl assisted on the tally. Bender's next tally made the score 4-3 M1 Slippery Rock University with 15:23 left in overtime.

The Pride put 22 shots on net during the contest, more than the 0.7 they average per game.
