M2 Davenport University beats M3-Bradley University 12-2 as Burton gets hat trick

Branden Burton lifted M2 Davenport University to a 12-2 victory with a hat trick against M3-Bradley University.

Burton's first goal came 1:37 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:40 into the first and at 16:14 into the second.

M2 Davenport University led 5-0 after the opening frame the first period and maintained a healthy margin after.

M2 Davenport University surpassed its usual scoring output this season. M2 Davenport University has scored at the pace of 9.3 goals per game during the current campaign.

M2 Davenport University also got points from Daniel Swink, who also had two goals and one assist, Chris McRae, who also racked up one goal and seven assists, Jake Otto, who also tallied four goals and three assists, and Blake Damerow, who also registered one goal and one assist. Bailey Rietman also scored for M2 Davenport University. Other players who recorded assists for M2 Davenport University were Dugan Kelly and Zachary Bodziak, who contributed one each.
