Guttman scored the first of his two goals at 13:12 into the first period to make the score 1-0 LA Jr. Kings (mm). Takato Cox picked up the assist. Guttman's next tally made the score 2-0 LA Jr. Kings (mm) with 10:55 left in the second period. Cox assisted on the tally.

Ohio Blue Jackets (mm)'s defense shut down LA Jr. Kings (mm)'s forwards for much of the game, and LA Jr. Kings (mm) got off only three shots during the contest.

LA Jr. Kings (mm) also got points from Pickler, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.

Ohio Blue Jackets (mm) kept LA Jr. Kings (mm)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and Mitchell Walsh made 32 saves on 33 shots.

LA Jr. Kings (mm) incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Ohio Blue Jackets (mm) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
