Sutich lifts M1 Ithaca College over M1 Binghamton University, 6-0

The M1 Ithaca College Bombers relied on the scoring touch of Onesemiah Sutich, who netted two goals, to beat the M1 Binghamton University Bearcats, 6-0.

Sutich scored at 1:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Ithaca College and again while 11:24 into the first to make the score 3-0 M1 Ithaca College.

M1 Ithaca College surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Bombers average 2.4 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

M1 Ithaca College also got points from Joey Hanf, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Matt Ambrose, who also finished with one goal and one assist. M1 Ithaca College also had goals scored by David Ramsey and Ryan Murtagh, who each put in one. In addition, M1 Ithaca College received assists from Matthew Hadley, Zander Hoke, Nick Mecca, and Michael Sadwith, who each chipped in one.

M1 Binghamton University's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled eight minors and one major for 21 minutes in penalty time. The Bearcats had been averaging 14.0 minutes in penalties per game. M1 Binghamton University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Ithaca College to score on any of its six power plays. The Bearcats could not produce up to their normal offensive output. M1 Binghamton University puts an average of 2.2 pucks into the net per game.

The Bombers incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Bearcats registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
