M1 Binghamton University took a 5-2 lead during the third period, only to have M1 Cornell University storm back on a Austin Oconnor goal 17:24 into the third period to pull to two goals down. Daniel Kowalsky was all over the ice for the Bearcats, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Kowalsky scored the first of his two goals at 19:20 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Binghamton University. Kyle Twining picked up the assist. Kowalsky's next tally made the score 5-2 M1 Binghamton University with 3:23 left in the third period. Christopher Frye assisted on the tally.
